Legal Aid WA continues to assist those that are faced with family law and family violence issues throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Legal Aid WA has a COVID-19 resources page for family law issues including: co-parenting, parenting arrangements and regional travel restrictions, and supporting children. Legal Aid WA continues to provide their family duty lawyer services including Family Violence Restraining Order Duty Lawyer Service, Family Court Duty Lawyer, Family Advisory Support Service (FASS), and Children’s Court (Protection) Services Duty Lawyer Service. The State government Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) provides a large amount of resources relating to COVID-19. DMIRS provides information for tenants and landlords on COVID-19 tenancy issues. DMIRS has information on what to do if you are at a higher risk of family and domestic violence due to COVID-19.
